Now it’s time to watch Tuesday, May 7. Let’s start with profits. Top companies will report tomorrow, including Disney BP and U Bs. Disney announces its second-quarter results ahead of early voting reports and sees Bob Iger defeat activist investor Nelson Pell in a controversial proxy battle. Analysts expect parks to be a good place for house mice and streaming. Price increases are also expected to increase as the busy season progresses. In the first quarter, we will see more profits from the toast sharing service and elevator results after the bell. Active passenger growth is something analysts will be paying attention to when reporting results. The biggest gains are expected to match rideshare rival Uber, which reports on Wednesday and finally looks at Minneapolis federal President Neil Kari’s appearance, scheduled for tomorrow, follows comments today from Fed Chairman Tom Barkin, who expressed optimism that today’s tight interest rates could lower inflation.
