Arabian Travel Market 2024 has revealed that intelligent e-commerce platform InterLnkd is this year’s winner of the Start-up Pitch Battle competition.

On the last day of the four-day event, InterLnkd overcame stiff competition and won the third edition of the competition organized in cooperation with Intelak.

The UK-based company uses specific data points and an intelligent matching engine to connect the travel and hospitality sectors with the fashion, beauty and retail industries.

33 start-ups from the tourism industry submitted applications to this year’s competition, which means an increase of 158% compared to last year.

Finalists ClearQuote Technologies ME Ltd, StayK and InterLnkd were presented to judges Sarah Saddouk, Chief Innovation Officer of, and Mohammad Khoori from Emirates Group’s venture team.

Barry Klipp, co-founder and CEO of InterLnkd, outlined the company’s positioning as the first and only company to connect the travel and hospitality industries with the fashion, beauty and retail industries to provide the former with a greater revenue stream and provide a targeted sales solution to the latter.

He said: “Using specific data points and a unique intelligent matching engine built on artificial intelligence algorithms, InterLnkd is able to connect thousands of bookings from the travel and hospitality industries with thousands of products from the fashion, beauty and retail industries to provide both parties with additional streams revenues. “
