Federal Government launches TV and radio program promoting Buhari’s policies

The Presidency has reportedly launched a weekly television and radio program aimed at promoting the policies and programs of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.

According to the report, this was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja by Abiola Olusola, Deputy Director of Media in the Vice President’s office.

The statement came 24 hours after former President Olusegun Obasanjo targeted the current administration on cleaners with a 13-page letter in which he urged President Muhammadu Buhari not to run for a second term as his performance was below his (Obasanjo) expectations.

A statement from the Presidency said the program aimed at promoting President Buhari’s mammoth achievements and the positive impact he has had on the lives of many Nigerians will be broadcast on many television and radio stations across the country.

The President’s statement reads:

“We invite residents to watch programs on the following TV stations:

TV channels on Monday – 16:30

Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Network on Thursday – 6:30 p.m

Basic TV news on Saturday at 12:30

Liberty Television on Sunday – 4:30 p.m

“The following will be broadcast on the radio:

FRCN Network – Monday at 2:30 p.m

Raypower FM – Monday at 15:00

Radio Bauchi – Monday at 1:30 p.m

Heartland FM – Saturday at 10:30

Rainbow FM (Ogun) – Saturday at 8:00

Capital FM – Saturday at 1:30 p.m

Liberty Radio – Sunday at 10:30

Choice FM – Sunday at 6:30 p.m

Rivers Radio – Sunday at 9:30 p.m.
