Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Launches ‘End of the Line’ Starring Jason Segel and Jesse Eisenberg

A week after Kilburn Media joined the company for financing End of the tripSony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions has acquired multi-territory rights to the Berlin-based pic. Starring Jason Segel Infinite Joke author David Foster Wallace, who, early in his fame, committed suicide in 2008 while on a book tour. Starring Jesse Eisenberg Rolling Stone reporter David Lipsky, who accompanied Wallace on the tour. Along the way, jealousy and rivalry develop between the two writers as they discuss women, depression, and the pros and cons of fame. The film was directed by James Ponsoldt (Now spectacular), and David Kanter and Matt DeRoss are producing for Anonymous Content with James Dahl of Modern Man Films. Manuel and O’Neal will produce for Kilburn. Paul Green is the executive producer from Anonymous Content. Filming is scheduled to begin soon. Newly established sales and finance company Fortitude International is selling the film on the European Film Market.
